The Library for Delinquents is a reviews and news blog about YA and children’s fiction.

I’m a pint-sized book-lover living beside the seaside, beside the sea in Brighton (well, Hove actually!). Aside from reading, I also love baking, travel to strange lands, live music and beard spotting.

I have a lifelong reputation as a bookworm extraordinaire, and decided it was time to start sharing my bookish exploits with the world in the form of a blog.

I mainly review YA, but also some fiction for older children, and I’m not picky about genre – I’ll devour anything from dystopian fiction to historical romance, and from gritty thrillers to fantasy, as long as it is well-written, has a story that grabs me and characters I can believe in!

When I’m not reading books I earn my pennies editing and writing them, working on anything from children’s/YA fiction to adult novels, autobiographies, travel memoirs and general interest non-fiction. Right now, I’m working on a new YA fiction concept with a co-author friend.
