The Fault in Our Stars – PassItOn!

This week I signed up to take part in a UK-wide book chain for The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, and I was very excited when my copy landed on my doormat this morning!

I’ve wanted to get my hands on this book for a while after reading some rave reviews, and it doesn’t come out in paperback in the UK until January.

So what I’ve got to do next is read it, then write a note to the author in the blank pages at the back with my thoughts on the book, then register its unique code online at www.facebook.com/spinebreakers and pass it on to someone else to read. And now for the best bit – the people who create the longest book chain will all win signed copies of the book to keep and £500 of free books to share! AND the author will get to read all the notes the readers leave in the back! If you want to join in and be the next on the chain, get in touch via my contact page – whoever I hear from first, I will pass it on to them next (UK-based only please). Get involved – let’s make the longest book chain and get our hands on all those free books!

About the book:

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.

Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

John Green is also the author of Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines, Paper Towns and Will Grayson, Will Grayson.

  1. The book chain sounds like a lot of fun! I loved the book and am happy it’s on so many best of lists this year. Looking forward to your review.
